HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINED IN NEWBORN POSING SAFETY?
Julie Logan Photography is fully licensed and insured. I have training specifically in the area of posed newborn photography and handle all babies with the utmost care making sure they are comfortable at all times. I would never do anything to risk the safety of your baby. You can feel comfortable knowing that your most precious family member is in safe hands.
WHAT ARE YOUR STUDIO CLEANING PROCEDURES?
Cleanliness is always a top priority for me! I wash and sanitize my hands often as well as wearing a mask during your session. All of my fabrics are washed and all props are sanitized after every session.
WHAT WILL MY SESSION BE LIKE?
Newborn sessions are calm and soothing to best capture those sleepy baby poses. You may even fall asleep yourself with the dim lighting and soft music as I work patiently at your baby's pace allowing for breaks as they are needed.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
For newborn sessions, I have everything you could think of including wraps, furs, blankets, headbands, bonnets, and props. Your session will be designed during the pre-session consultation with everything set up and ready prior to your arrival.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
I typically book sessions 1-3 months in advance so I recommend you book during your second trimester to secure your spot on my calendar. Newborn portraits are booked using your due date. You can email or text me once you are home from the hospital and we will schedule the session date typically within 7-14 days of birth. I purposely do not overbook newborn sessions to ensure availability in my schedule for those who booked in advance.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD?
You will be welcomed in my beautiful private fully equipped studio located in Wellington. The studio feels cozy, comfortable, and clean where you can sit back and relax as you watch me photograph your baby. I also provide water and snacks while you are here.
WHAT TIME OF DAY SHOULD WE SCHEDULE THE SHOOT?
Studio sessions are typically scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings and can last up to 3 hours.
